The Marble Cathedral


Introduction

The Marble Cathedral (placed beside the Marble Chapel) is a structuring mineral of calcium carbonate on the shores of Lake General Carrera , Chile . As the years progressed, the waters of the lake have dissolved the cliffs seaside making these establishments, which when the lake is at a low level, you can go inside in little vessels. 

It comprises of a couple of islets placed a couple of meters from the shore of the lake, which are named Marble Cathedral , Chapel of Marble and Marble Cave
You can get to this preparation by means of the lake in little vessels from the town of Puerto Rio Tranquilo (in the region of Río Ibáñez , 223 km from Coyhaique , capital of the Aysen locale ). From here you can lease little watercrafts that cross the field of Marble Cathedral.
