Introduction
The Marble Cathedral (placed beside the Marble Chapel) is a structuring mineral of calcium carbonate on the shores of Lake General Carrera , Chile . As the years progressed, the waters of the lake have dissolved the cliffs seaside making these establishments, which when the lake is at a low level, you can go inside in little vessels.
It comprises of a couple of islets placed a couple of meters from the shore of the lake, which are named Marble Cathedral , Chapel of Marble and Marble Cave .
You can get to this preparation by means of the lake in little vessels from the town of Puerto Rio Tranquilo (in the region of Río Ibáñez , 223 km from Coyhaique , capital of the Aysen locale ). From here you can lease little watercrafts that cross the field of Marble Cathedral.
